We’re Seeking Partners, Vendors, Performers and Volunteers to Help Run the Faire!

The Big Sky Renaissance Faire and the Magpie Renaissance Faire are annual fundraising events held by the Magpie Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that aims to improve the lives of local veterans. Read more on the foundation’s website here.

As a tax exempt organization approved as a non-profit by the Montana Department of Revenue, all donations are 100% tax deductible. Talk to your tax advisor for more information.

  • The Magpie Foundation seeks financial assistance from corporate sponsors to cover behind-the-scenes work required to run a renaissance faire. The foundation is a 501(c)3 Montana non-profit public benefit organization and any donations are 100% tax deductible. Let us know if your organization is interested in supporting this fun, community-led event.

  • The Magpie Renaissance Faire is a great platform for local Montana businesses to sell their food and beverages in a fun-filled environment. Our team is looking to partner with business owners who sell food and beverages during our annual events. If you smoke turkey legs or sell mead, you will find yourself at the top of the list!

  • The lifeblood of every renaissance faire rests with the magic makers who bring their crafts to sell at our historically-inspired market. If you engage in a craft that would fit well with our event theme, please contact us so we can reserve you a space to set up your vendor booth. We are always looking to feature blacksmiths, armorers, leatherworkers, woodworkers, ceramicists, glass blowers, paper makers, costume designers, fine artists, jewelers, toymakers, and of course, those who make steins, cups or beverage horns! If your merchandise is similar, let us know so we can add you to our vendor list and reserve a space for your booth!

  • Entertainers are always wanted! The Magpie Renaissance Faire is looking for reenactors, costumed characters, dancers, musicians, acrobats, aerialists, fire eaters, living statues, jesters, magicians… you name it. Please reach out to us so we can discuss and accommodate to your availability and specific venue needs.

  • The Magpie Renaissance Faire loves our volunteers! WE ALWAYS NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS to help run things during the weekend of the event.

    We’re looking for dependable folks to help take tickets at the entrance, answer questions at the information table, help at the hospitality tent, and assist with first aid and security. Please contact us if you'd like to be a part of our production! COSTUMES REQUIRED FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS!
